Nekobox is the server your browser is talking to!
It’s a custom-built server that I built about 10 years ago, originally for just playing around with and learning Linux. It currently lives in a 2U rackmount unit inside my coffee table!
Since then, I’ve ended up using it for all sorts of things:
- My website
- Mastodon instance
- Forgejo instance (code repository)
- Media server
- Various game servers:
- Sven Co-op
- Synergy
- Minecraft, sort of
- Secret things???
- I tried running a Matrix server once
